It may more often be thought of as the home of flat caps rather than couture suits, but Yorkshire recently held its first ever fashion week.
Despite not being the centre of the fashion world, Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry, was among those who attended a gala show in the county last week.
John Warburton, the event's project director, said that many universities and colleges are now "incredibly enthusiastic" about next year's event.
"We only had about a month to organise it this time, now we can build on this year's success to make it even better for next year," he said.
"There were fashion shows at a number of the region's colleges and universities, including Bradford, Kirklees, Huddersfield University and Leeds College of Art."
It is not the only place outside of London to hold a fashion week, with Liverpool and Oxford also displaying the talent of locals on the runway.
