It's time to up the ante. Show them what you're really made of. Each season we strive to surpass the last. And we think our new premium tailoring collection may be our greatest achievement to date. We've teamed our classic Jermyn Street fit and craftsmanship with exquisite fabrics from three of the biggest names in the business. The result? A range of our finest battledress to date.
The Zegna Cloth
Back in 1910, Ermenegildo Zegna was one man with a dream to make 'the most beautiful fabrics in the world.' Fast-forward 107 years and it's a global powerhouse of luxury tailoring. And yet the passion for first-class fabrics remains. Available in classic business blue and charcoal, our Zegna cloth suits are made from pure merino wool, with a rich depth of colour. For such a soft material, they're also remarkably resistant to creasing.
Since 1842, successive generations of the Dormeuil family have searched far and wide for rare and luxurious fabrics. Most recently this quest has led the French brand to develop its Exel fabric, from which our collaboration suit is cut. It’s spun from extra-fine merino wool with a notable stretch to the material. This natural elasticity allows for a contemporary fit, while remaining comfortable to wear, and a garment that holds its shape for longer.
The Barberis Canonico family, based in Biella, northern Italy, began making wool fabrics as far back as 1663. Now the brand supplies the world’s leading luxury tailors. This, our second collection with the mill, builds on the strengths of the first. The pure wool is luxuriously soft to the touch and offers a rich colour and texture to the eye. The fine material also has a remarkably lightweight character and hangs with a stylish drape.
